Functional Area: Accounting
Accountability Objective: Responsible for creating and maintaining the master production schedule based on a review of customer orders, forecast, and independent demand requirements. Will attend Sales and Operations planning meetings and act as a liaison between Sales and Operations and field operations to ensure sales orders are developed into manufacturing plans in order to meet customer objectives.
Responsibilities:
-Plans and develops production schedules.
-Monitors materials inventories, tracks progress of production and reviews factors which affect schedules.
-Prepare the master production schedule based on the S & OP process to meet revenue and customer requirements.
-Develop monthly forecast and generate reports in support of product sales and service part requirements.
-Track inventory levels and assist in inventory reduction efforts
-Create and manage the internal work orders needed to meet customer demand, operational objectives, and business goals
-Ensure lot/serial control items are traced appropriately through the production system.
-Develop appropriate reports and their analysis to support the visibility. Insure any report/databases required reflect accurate and timely information by providing updates of status changes/part movements.
-Responsible for the timely review and completion of work orders as required. Ensures work order cost variances are identified and reconciled prior to completion and accounting review.
-Requires input to the MRP system and maybe required to run appropriate calculations as needed.
-Comply with established company policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety and environmental standards.
-Work with purchasing department and order material when needed
-Back up other inventory personnel as needed
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education:
-Four year degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience required
Experience:
-Familiar with Lean Manufacturing practices
-3-5 years experience in production activity control, manufacturing operations, or material tracking function preferred
-Knowledge and experience with MRP
Skills:
-Must be a dependable individual, with a good work/attendance record
-Must be a proven self-starter, with exemplary written and oral communication skills
-Ability to work independently with persistence and attention to detail required
-Above average analytical, decision making, problem solving and research skills
-Advanced math skills including making calculations, creating formulas and analyzing data.
Computer/Typing/Equipment:
-Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point preferred
-Some experience with a computerized accounting system required. Great Plains Dynamics Accounting System experience helpful
Status: Salary Exempt

Factory Support Technician

Functional Area: Field Support
Accountability Objective: On a scheduled, rotating basis, perform the following according to Company policies and procedures: 1) process customer phone calls while working toward resolution of technical issues and documenting information; 2) evaluate and repair returned customer equipment and assist in the production process; and 3) travel to customer sites to perform system installations, including customer training, and provide onsite service on SST’s products.
Duties:
-Handle customer phone calls and assist customers in solving technical issues over the phone
-Make routine phone calls to customers to discuss warranty and repair issues and ensure satisfactory results in solving technical issues
-Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours over-the-phone customer technical support and Company building alarm system
-Use basic electronic assembly tools, hand power equipment, and various electronic test equipment to perform troubleshooting, testing and repairs of electronic equipment
-Inspect, repair, sort, alter, or reject products
-Assemble electronic devices and components
-Visually inspect and re-work fine detail such as solder joints
-Assist management with productivity initiatives as determined requested
-Maintenance of production machinery, equipment and test jigs
-Enter data in various database/software programs
-Complete onsite equipment inspection, repair, and installation as directed
-Provide training to facility personnel in the operation and maintenance of installed equipment as directed

Requirements:
Education/Licensing:
-Associates Degree in Electronics and/or the equivalent education and experience in a technical setting required
-Must be eligible to hold license(s) as required by government regulations
Experience:
-Some experience preferred in: helping customers with technical issues, talking over the telephone in a business setting, related electronic and wiring skills, field support and customer training
Skills:
-Ability to read, write and speak the English language required
-Must have good written and oral communication and with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
-Ability to use tools and instruments for working with electronic products (oscilloscope, voltage meter, etc.)

They will be responsible for, but not limited to fixture design, process development, developing & maintaining process and equipment work instructions, capital equipment purchases and installation, lead equipment up time program and analysis of new and existing products.
